Opens September 10: MGM's First Shenzhen Hotel Lands in Shekou

Shenzhen Prince Bay MGM Hotel, under MGM China's MGM Asia Pacific hotel group, officially opened on September 10, 2026, with the opening ceremony hosted by Pansy Ho, Chairman and Executive Director of MGM China Holdings. This is a key MGM brand project in the Greater Bay Area, and another new option for Hongkongers heading north for a staycation.

The hotel is located on the Prince Bay waterfront in Nanshan District, focused on a coastal resort experience, with a total of 298 guest rooms and suites, some with open sea views. For Hongkongers, the biggest selling point is transport: the hotel is only about a 1-minute walk from Shekou Cruise Homeport, so if you take the ferry from Hong Kong to Shekou, you step off and walk a few steps to arrive, with no need to drag your luggage onto another transfer.
