This is a flagship MGM project in the Greater Bay Area, and another new option for visitors to Shenzhen looking for a staycation.
The hotel sits on the Prince Bay waterfront in Nanshan District, positioned around a coastal resort experience, with 298 guest rooms and suites in total, some with open sea views. For travellers from Hong Kong, the biggest draw is transport: the hotel is only about a 1-minute walk from Shekou Cruise Homeport, so if you take the ferry from Hong Kong to Shekou, you step off and walk a few paces to the hotel — no more dragging luggage onto another transfer.

How to get there? All three border crossings work

- Shekou Cruise Homeport (by ferry): take the ferry from Hong Kong's China Ferry Terminal or Hong Kong–Macau Ferry Terminal to Shekou, then walk about 1 minute to the hotel — good for families with luggage
- Metro: get off at Prince Bay Station on Shenzhen Metro Line 12, about a 5-minute walk
Note that traffic around Shenzhen Bay Checkpoint and Shekou is heavy on holidays; entering Nanshan from the checkpoint after 7pm, allow an extra 15 minutes. The metro means more walking, but it is unaffected by traffic and cheaper.
What to do nearby: K11 ECOAST + Sea World + Prince Bay Garden City
The big advantage of staying here is not having to run around — malls, restaurants and a waterfront promenade are already nearby:
